PRACTICE #1

When: September 14, 2025
Where: Boston, MA

General Practice Summary
The fall season has OFFICIALLY begun!

What a perfect day to be back on the fields with REVlax Nation!  Boston showed off its perfect September weather, and you all matched it with incredible energy.

This was a team practice, which brings together the whole club in one location. It is such a special opportunity to come together to grow and connect.  Families came from FIVE states – and we are so grateful to our community for making it happen!

It was special to see so many returners, who jumped back in like no time had passed in August!  And talk about EXCITEMENT to see all of our new families in one place. We are so excited about the families who have joined our community for REV23 – talk about talent, personality and energy!  Some have transitioned from other programs to experience the magic of REVlax, while others are new to the club scene -  and we cannot wait to see them shine!

The practice plan was packed with live-play action as we worked through final roster evaluations for the fall season.  Players brought intensity, teamwork, and focus—everything we love to see on the field. The best part? Everyone left having met someone new.

We also had a great time connecting with our 2028–2037 families during their Fall Kickoff meetings.  Thank you to all the families for fitting the meeting into your schedule!

These sessions were a special opportunity for players and parents to hear directly from our staff about the season ahead—our goals, expectations, and vision for the program. Your enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment truly set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an incredible year with REV Nation.

Here’s to a fantastic start to the 23rd year of REVlax—let’s make this year our best yet!

2029 Practice Recap
HELLO HIGH SCHOOLERS!   We missed this class SO much in August!  The 2029s have such a kind, warm energy, coupled with a deep level of passion.  Every single player in the class really cares, and that is something special!!!

The first practice of the fall was a BLAST.  The 2029s all look a little taller, and wiser now that they are in high school!  Hearing the experiences and lessons they’ve picked up in the first few weeks of school and fall sports was so impressive -  and it’s clear that they are bringing that growth mindset to the field with REVlax.

The practice plan focused on getting back into the flow of the game.  The intention was to keep the concepts simple, yet purposeful, and prepare players for the upcoming tournament season at the High School level!

We kicked things off with shuttles to reset our movement, footwork, and overall pace of play after the break. From there, we jumped into the 3-man weave, pushing the tempo and emphasizing quick passing, clean spacing, and strong communication — all key elements as we build toward more fluid, cohesive team play.  Then we moved into REVlax’s signature move, the Split Dodge!

Then we shifted to live play, with a focus on implementing game concepts and moving the ball as quickly as possible - the pace was strong out of the gate, and we were so impressed!

What a great start for the 2029 Class – it was clear that many of you are bringing the speed, energy, and competitiveness from your fall sports onto the field.  We’re excited to keep building and are so proud of the starting point that this practice provided.

PRACTICE #2
When: September 21, 2025
Where: Providence, RI

General Practice Summary
It was another perfect September day for our second Team Practice of the fall!  The weather and vibes were immaculate!

REVlax rotates team practices between our two largest hubs, Boston and Providence, giving players exposure to different environments and allowing all families the opportunity to engage with the program.  As always, we so appreciate everyone’s effort to get to every practice site!

Practice #2 was held at the 9x RI State Championship Field — Moses Brown!  Moses Brown has a long history of top-tier lacrosse players, many of whom have been REVlax alumna, and it’s always incredible to feel that energy of excellence on the field. It sets the tone for our players and inspires them to push themselves to be their best.

The REVdevo practice was packed with energy, while our high school teams came in focused and ready to elevate their game in preparation for the fall season.

Team practices are integral to every group’s cohesion and chemistry, and this week was no exception. With team rosters finalized, players were able to start connecting directly with the teammates they will play with for fall tournaments. At REVlax, consistency and cohesion are the foundation of success, and every team practice fuels this intention.

Even from the first week to the second, the progress for each group was palpable. It was so cool to see each team really work on their connections on the field, resulting in some really impressive standout moments throughout the day!

The energy, teamwork, and focus on the field are exactly what make REVlax so special, and we will never forget this gorgeous afternoon in Rhode Island!

Grad Year Practice Recap
With team placement completed, this was the first day to hit the ground running as a Black and Blue team.

We started off by taking a moment to remind players what it looks like to bring the Vibe to practice. We talked about how as an individual, the energy you bring to practice has a positive or negative affect on the whole group. Once we found our vibe and got our energy up, each team started firing on all cylinders.

We covered a few major concepts and ended practice working on our transition game with some East/West 6v6 play.  The small sided play forces players to push the ball in transition and also redefend, all in tight spaces with full pace. This skillset is a  crucial part of the REV foundation and enables our run and gun style at the high school level!

One of the concepts we covered man up offense and man down defense in a fast-paced drill that we call True North. This game gets players used to man up/man down on both sides of the ball as well as quick thinking and reacting to the situation they are in. It makes you really focus on quick reset and ball movement. These concepts are crucial to this fall as both teams transition from middle school to high school lacrosse.

We also spent time working on team offense and team defense. Team offense focused on our motion offense and using “good manners” of being on the attacking end. DI MA State Champion coach, Erin Cash, used the analogy of exhibiting good manners while working with your teammates -  just like you wouldn’t interrupt someone speaking, on the attacking end, you would never pass the ball and just stand still. This helped both teams really enforcing passing and cutting through. For team defense, we used the Pie Drill to learn how to hedge, see ball and girl, and slide to help our teammates next to us, all while mastering our communication.

2029Blue Practice Recap
2029Blue welcomed several new faces to REV with open arms, and it was fantastic to see the way the returning players embraced them. Right from the start, the energy, positivity, and inclusiveness on the field set a strong tone for the season. It’s clear this group has a bright future ahead, and today’s practice was an important step in helping them build the foundation that will carry them through their freshman year and beyond.

This session focused on introducing and reinforcing core REV concepts — from communication, spacing, and decision-making to the mindset and energy we call the Vibe. The players responded well, showing a willingness to learn, to challenge themselves, and to support one another. The new players quickly integrated, contributing to drills and games with focus and enthusiasm, while the returning members helped model what it means to step up and be accountable.

What was most encouraging was seeing how quickly the team began to connect on and off the ball. Even at this early stage, patterns of teamwork and chemistry were emerging, and players were starting to anticipate each other’s movements, communicate more effectively, and execute with purpose. That kind of growth — especially with a mix of new and returning players — is exactly what will allow this team to thrive as the season progresses.

We’re excited to continue building on this foundation, watching 2029Blue develop their skills, their cohesion, and their leadership. If the energy, focus, and commitment from this practice are any indication, this group has the potential to achieve great things this year, both individually and collectively. The future is bright for 2029Blue, and we can’t wait to see how far they can go!

PRACTICE #3
When: September 28, 2025
Where: Boston, MA

General Practice Summary
Two words to define September so far: IDEAL WEATHER!  REVlax thrives in all conditions, but when it’s 60 degrees and sunny, it’s pure perfection — and today was a gorgeous fall day in Boston to close out our fall team practices.

It’s incredible how quickly the past three weeks have flown by and how much improvement we’ve seen across every group. With the majority of the club attending all three sessions, we’ve witnessed a dramatic increase in team chemistry and cohesion.  On top of that, every individual player has made huge strides — dusting off any cobwebs from the off-season and fully stepping back into REVlax mode. The growth in confidence, skill, and focus has been exciting to watch, and it sets the stage for a strong foundation going into tournament season.  A special shout to all the parents who put time in the car to make it happen – we appreciate you SO much!

For the final team practice of the fall, the REVdevo players brought the electric energy that makes the youth players so special. Players were buzzing with excitement, as they prepared for upcoming fall tournaments and full-field live play. The 2033s had their first full-field game experience, supported by the 2032s, in a competitive 12v12 scrimmage — learning spacing, transition responsibilities, and how to read the field in real time. Meanwhile, the 31–34 teams were sharpening their fundamentals and putting their motion offense and man-up/man-down concepts into action in a fast-paced, game-like setting.

When our High School teams hit the field, the focus and intensity immediately ramped up. Each team executed with precision, communicated effectively, and demonstrated the teamwork that’s been building throughout the fall. They really dialed in to each and every drill, setting the tone for the upcoming tournament season.  As a staff, we are so impressed by the progress, energy, and cohesion we’ve seen from every team over the past three weeks.

As we close out fall practices, we couldn’t be more excited to see all of our teams carry this momentum to the game field. Every player has laid a strong foundation, and now it’s time to take all that energy, skill, and teamwork to the next level — and represent REVlax Nation on the tournament circuit!

Grad Year Practice Recap
Practice #3 brought a new level of energy from our 2029 class. The vibe on the field was starting to come alive on its own — the energy, focus, and competitive spirit were noticeable from the first whistle. Both teams dove into our Man-Up offensive set (4-3), continued to refine team defensive concepts, worked on shooting fundamentals, and challenged themselves in 1v1 situations.

The highlight came at the end of practice, when both teams moved into full-field play, putting into action everything they’ve been building over the last three practices. It was exciting to see the growth in chemistry, spacing, and decision-making as players applied what they’ve learned in a live, competitive setting. The progress is clear, and this group is continuing to develop into a confident, cohesive, and highly competitive team.

2029Blue Practice Recap
What a day on the field for this group! Over the past three weeks, the progress we’ve seen has been remarkable — players are locking in, building confidence, and consistently leveling up their skills.

1v1s provided an excellent showcase of individual performance. We witnessed some truly impressive lockdown defense, and on the offensive side, our attackers are beginning to make quick, sharp movements to beat defenders and create scoring opportunities.

During scrimmage play, the pieces are really starting to click. The team is moving the ball more efficiently, communicating with intent, and showing early signs of cohesive team defense. It’s exciting to watch the group come together and begin to understand how all the elements we’ve been working on fit into full-field play.

This team is clearly on an upward trajectory, and the potential is immense. We’re thrilled to see how far they’ll go and can’t wait to see this energy, skill, and teamwork carry over to Love 2 Lax!

LOVE TO LAX
When: October 5, 2025
Where: Devens, MA

Love 2 Lax was an incredible showcase of skill, energy, and growth! REVlax brought the fun, intensity, and competition to Devens, with families and players creating an electric atmosphere all day. It was a beautiful fall weekend — a little warm, but the sun was shining, the leaves were turning, and the stage was set for some outstanding lacrosse.

The 30Black team dominated on Saturday, taking home the Championship with precision, teamwork, and relentless energy. On Sunday, the 28Black team brought the same fire, battling through tough competition to earn their Championship title. Both teams showed exactly what REVlax is all about — skill, focus, and heart.

But it wasn’t just the champions who shined. Every team improved tremendously from the start to the finish of the day. The 31Heart team, for example, just missed the championship game!  The progress each team made, the cohesion they built, and the level of play they reached by the end of the day was inspiring. Across the board, players grew in confidence, execution, and teamwork — a clear sign of the efforts applied to our three team practices in September!

What makes REVlax so special isn’t just the championships or the skill level — it’s the camaraderie, class, and sportsmanship of our players and families. Watching everyone come together, support each other, and celebrate the game is what makes this community truly unique. And a special shout out to all the new players who’s first event was Love 2 Lax!

It was amazing to see so much growth, energy, and excitement from every single team, and we can’t wait to see how far these players will go over the rest of the fall season. If this weekend was any indication, REV23 is off to an incredible start!

2029Blue Event Recap
29Blue had a fantastic first event, welcoming four new players to their first-ever REV tournament — and what a debut it was! The growth from the first whistle to the final horn was incredible to see. From the start, this group showed heart, resilience, and a willingness to learn on the fly.

Early on, each first half became a learning moment — a chance to find rhythm, build chemistry, and settle into the pace of play. But in every second half, 29Blue turned it on, outplaying opponents and showing just how quickly this team can adapt and compete when the energy and confidence click.

The day wrapped up with an exciting, back-and-forth Game 3 that ended in a hard-fought tie — a perfect reflection of this group’s fight and growing identity.

The focus for the fall is consistency — bringing that second-half fire from the first whistle every time we step on the field. With the talent, effort, and attitude in this group, the potential is through the roof. By the end of the fall, we know 29Blue will look like a completely different team — sharper, faster, and even more connected. The foundation is set, and the future looks bright!

Event Recap
29Blue showed tremendous growth throughout the day, finishing strong in their final game with energy, focus, and confidence in all areas of their game. The day began with an exclusive pre-event practice with REV Founder Lukas Cash — a unique opportunity offered only to this team. Lukas shared insights on mindset, focus, and maximizing every rep, giving 29Blue a chance to step onto the field with a deeper understanding of what it takes to compete at the next level.

The team immediately began applying what they learned in their first game, showing flashes of the speed, awareness, and communication Lukas emphasized. Game two brought a strong first half, proving that when this team plays with focus and intensity, they can compete with anyone. While the second half showed a dip in pace, it highlighted areas for improvement that we know this team will address as the fall progresses.

By game three, 29Blue was firing on all cylinders, combining offensive execution, defensive intensity, and smart decision-making. The team also worked on learning how to settle the ball and run structured plays, taking another big step in their overall development.

Overall, it was an incredible day of growth and learning for 29Blue, with the exclusive time with Lukas setting the tone for what’s possible when this group brings focus, energy, and trust in each other. The progress we saw today gives us so much excitement for the rest of the fall!

General Event Summary
Fall travel season is officially underway, and what a way to kick it off! This weekend marked the first team travel trip of the fall for REV, and it was so much more than just lacrosse. Travel weekends are a crucial part of player development — they build maturity and independence, giving players a chance to bond as a team and make lifelong friendships.

On the way down, the buses were full of laughs and friendly competition — Rhode Island vs. Massachusetts went head-to-head to see who could make the best bus videos. You’ll have to check them out on Instagram and decide which state takes the crown!  Be sure to follow our bus leads: @REV_Haley and @REV_Duffy to check them out! 😊

On the fields, every team faced strong competition, and the growth was evident in every game. Players improved their skills, learned from each other, and leaned on their teammates in real-time situations. Beyond the Xs and Os, the weekend helped forge new friendships, deepen team chemistry, and create memories that will last far beyond the season.

Travel weekend number one is officially in the books, and it was a resounding success — both on and off the field. This is what makes REV special: the combination of elite lacrosse, teamwork, and the life lessons that come with making memories together.

2029Blue Event Recap
We will never forget the one day transformation that 29Blue went through during this event!

It took players a little time to shake off the extra hour of sleep from daylight savings, but once they found their rhythm, the growth and energy on the field was incredible. Game two was a valuable lesson in giving it your all every single minute, and the team absorbed it quickly.

By game three, a new version of 29Blue emerged. Ella Nardone led the charge, turning on the speed and intensity, and her teammates rose to match her effort. Lily Magit was a force on defense, dominating ground balls and setting the tone with relentless energy.

This team discovered a new level of play this weekend, showing what’s possible when they compete with focus, grit, and teamwork. The progress we saw is just the beginning, and we know 29Blue will keep bringing this intensity and growth as the season continues!

General Event Summary
This trip marked the first flight experience of their careers for our 2029s—and they learned quickly how to go with the flow and handle the unexpected. Our Boston flight was affected by FAA cuts and ultimately pushed to Saturday morning, while Rhode Island traveled smoothly and arrived in Maryland Friday night. With the change, we adjusted the schedule and played by region on Saturday: Rhode Island in the morning and Boston in the afternoon.

It turned into a super fun and meaningful experience for our 2029s and highlighted exactly what makes REV, REV. It’s not always about your team—it’s about how you play, how you adapt, and how you learn to compete with anyone around you.

Rhode Island showed up and took care of business. There were some great moments throughout the day, including impressive draw controls from Hadley Henderson and Nina French. We saw unreal offensive play from Callie Dickie, Mallorie Burman, and Alex Bless, who not only turned it up but also found their middies and teammates in transition for some excellent team plays.

Boston caught an early flight and came ready to compete in the afternoon. Draws from Reagan Pellitier and Kiley O’Brien Gilligan were on fire—when they were locked in, no one was stopping them.

Sunday brought us to the Naval Academy, a venue that elevates everyone’s level of play. Both teams faced the toughest schedule of the fall and rose to the challenge, learning a ton along the way. 29Blue improved with every game, learning what it takes to compete against a national talent and steadily rising to meet that challenge – with an epic final game in the sunset that we will never forget

Everyone who came on this trip grew in so many ways—from building core memories during team dinners at an awesome diner to the unforgettable feeling of being at the Naval Academy and being a part of that elite level of commitment, honor, and teamwork.

HOLIDAY CLINIC
When: December 7, 2025
Where: Taunton, MA

Holiday Clinic is one of our favorite events of the year, and for good reason. It marks the final event of the year for REV as one complete group—a chance to spend time together, enjoy each other’s company, and squeeze in our last lacrosse of 2025. This year was extra special, as we welcomed one of the largest Holiday Clinic turnouts ever, with over 230 players in attendance. The holiday spirit was on full display in Taunton, with players and coaches rocking their favorite festive outfits throughout the day.

Of course, there was plenty of lacrosse to go around. After warming up, players jumped right into station work focused heavily on live-play concepts. Our DEVO groups had a blast with fast-paced ground ball drills, stick work, and 1v1s, while our high school players competed in 1v1s of their own and high-tempo man-up/man-down drills that provided nonstop reps and great game-like experience.

Midday, we hit pause on lacrosse for one of the most anticipated parts of Holiday Clinic—our annual all-club fun! Players were split into 21 mixed-age, holiday-themed teams and competed for candy prizes in three relay races.

The first challenge was the stick-bridge relay, where teams raced to collect their sticks, engineer the strongest bridge, and have all teammates crawl underneath. Creativity and problem-solving were on full display—REV clearly has some future engineers in the making! Team Dreidel Dazzlers, led by Claudia Bonaventura, took the win with the fastest and most effective design.

Next up was the trivia relay, mixing REV knowledge with New England sports mascots and state capitals. (Shoutout to Lucky the Leprechaun for giving a few teams trouble—REVnation is officially encouraged to watch more Celtics games in 2026.) Team Jingle Ballers, led by Keira O’Connell and Meg Reddy, powered through all 10 questions and secured the win.

The final relay brought out everyone’s competitive spirit with our holiday twist on a classic—Snowman, Christmas Tree, Reindeer. Teams raced around snowmen and trees and crawled under reindeer to get everyone back to the start line. Team Silent Knights, led by Erin Canning, flew through the course to earn the final prize—and some serious bragging rights. For many players, the relay races were a highlight of the day, combining competition, fun, and the chance to connect with teammates across the club.

We wrapped up our lacrosse intermission with our coveted Holiday Clinic group photo—the biggest in years—featuring smiling faces, incredible holiday outfits, and Meg Reddy’s annual lightning-fast photobomb appearance.

The day finished strong with plenty of live play. High school teams competed across grade levels, producing fast, competitive, and exciting games. At the DEVO level, live play filled the fields, with players proudly keeping their holiday gear on. Our youngest players mixed fun games with small-sided action, while older DEVO groups logged a ton of 7v7 reps, focusing on pace and decision-making. The energy across the facility was unreal.

We closed the day together as a club, announcing the winner of the Holiday Costume Contest—Gray Ballou (2035)—who took home a brand-new stick! Once again, Holiday Clinic was an unforgettable event and a special opportunity for REVnation to come together under one roof. Our staff loves ending the year this way, surrounded by the energy, enthusiasm, and passion our players bring every time they step on the field.

Happy Holidays, REVnation—bring that same energy, fun, and hard work into 2026! 🎄🥍
