Event Summary
The girls’ lacrosse club season kicked off with New England’s top fall championship tournament, The New England Chill. 

What a weekend to kick off REV22, the 22nd year of Revolution Lacrosse, at REVlax’s own event, The New England Chill.  The weather was perfect, the sun was out, foliage was at peak, the DJ tent was bumping, and the dance offs were legit!   

Traditionally, The New England Chill is REVlax’s 2nd tournament of the fall, but with the Westside Tournament canceling this year, this was opening weekend!   Nine REVlax teams had winning records with three teams going undefeated and TWO teams winning the Championships!   

Congratulations to the REV25 Team for winning the Championship and putting in a whooping 55 goals while only giving up nine goals on the day!  

Congratulations also to the REV26 Black team for winning their Championship after battling a very strong Yellow Jackets team!   

Though both undefeated, 27Black and 31Heart each missed the playoffs to the other undefeated team in their respective pools seeing they had one more allowed goal! What are the odds!?! 

Something fun that the REVlax players loved was that after each game, a REVlaxer  was awarded the Game Pumpkin for outstanding play by the team and coaching staff.  And at the end of each day, the All-Tournament Pumpkin was awarded!

5-0 and Won The New England CHILL Championship!

Congratulations on an impressive AND undefeated weekend at The New England Chill and winning another tournament Championship!

Talk about playing like a well-oiled machine! This group blew the tops off their opponents.  

It was amazing to witness the grad year come back together since the last time we played in July. Given the handful of official visits and conflicts with high school sports, we merged both REV25Black and REV25Blue together for the weekend. Watching both groups come together and play as one unit is always amazing to witness, as is indicative of all the effort and commitment of each player during their REVlax tenture. Throughout the years, we have seen this grad year grow from understanding the basics of lacrosse to being able to recognize zones, man up situations and be able to lead and execute in any situation!  

Players, we cannot wait to see you this coming January for the Winter Clinics as we work with you to help prepare to dominate for your final senior spring season as you put your final mark on your high school legacy.

All Tournament Players
Given their amazing play, both REVlax goalies, Grace and Ally were awarded the All-Tournament Pumpkin for outstanding play by the team and coaching staff.  Congratulations to you both! And we even saw Grace Riley in action as a field player, as one of her last core memories! Boy was that a site to see! For Ally Arruda, she anchored the defensive unit and closed out the 2nd halves, leading the team to an undefeated day!
